Phrasal verbs
A phrasal verb is composed of two or three words – One verb is combined with a preposition (at, on, in) or an adverb (up, down).
Phrasal verbs with the verb “GET” are “get in”, “get out”, “get off”, “get away”, “get over”, “get back”… and they ALL have different meanings!

"Get out" meanings
a) Leave or escape: Get out of here!
b) Clean something: This detergent will get most household stains out.
c) Spend free time out of the house: You work too hard. You should get out more.

Phrasal verbs
a. Is there anyone you don’t get along with? Who and why?
b. What is something that you always put off until another day?
c. If you could do something over in your life, what would you do over?
d. What do you leave out when you talk to your parents about your life?
e. How often do you borrow money? Do you always pay it back?
f. Have any of your friends borrowed money and not paid you back?
g. How often do you get together with your high school or college friends?
h. How do you help out your friends and family?
i. What time do you usually get up? Do you wish you could get up earlier or later?
